The terms that govern your use of our services.

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Avant Auto Assist ("we", "us", "our"). By requesting, accepting or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Nature of Services

Avant Auto Assist provides roadside assistance, vehicle recovery and related services. These services may be delivered:

  • Directly by Avant Auto Assist personnel; or
  • By independent third-party service providers engaged on your behalf.

In any given engagement, Avant Auto Assist may act as a service provider, an intermediary, or a coordinator connecting you with a suitable provider.

Service Availability

All services are subject to availability and may be affected by location, traffic, demand, weather and other operational factors. We do not guarantee specific response times unless explicitly agreed in writing.

Quotes and Pricing

Any quotes provided are estimates based on the information supplied at the time. Final pricing may vary depending on the actual condition of the vehicle, location, distance, equipment required, or unforeseen complications. You will be notified of any material change before work proceeds, and your confirmation will be required.

Deposits and Payments

A deposit will be required to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable in most circumstances, including (but not limited to) customer no shows, cancellations and inaccurate information. This is simply to cover our drivers costs.

The remaining balance may be payable directly to the attending service provider. We accept multiple payment methods through secure third-party processors.

Cancellations

Cancellations made after a technician or recovery vehicle has been dispatched will incur a fee. No-show customers may be charged in full, and any deposit paid may be retained.

Third-Party Providers & Subcontractors

We may use trusted subcontractors or third-party technicians to deliver services where necessary. This allows us to maintain coverage, response times and capacity across our service areas.

Where services are delivered by independent third-party providers or subcontracted technicians, those providers operate as separate businesses. Avant Auto Assist is not liable for actions, damages, or outcomes resulting from work carried out by subcontracted third-party providers, though all partners are selected with care. Specifically, we are not liable for:

  • The actions or omissions of third-party providers or subcontractors
  • Delays caused by third-party providers
  • The standard or quality of workmanship performed by third parties
  • Any damage or loss arising from third-party services

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We accept no liability for indirect, consequential or incidental damages.
  • We accept no liability for pre-existing faults, defects or damage.
  • We make no guarantee that any specific issue will be resolved roadside.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so under UK law.

Delays and External Factors

We are not responsible for delays caused by external factors outside our reasonable control, including traffic, weather, accidents, road closures or unusually high demand.

Customer Responsibilities

By requesting service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your location, vehicle and issue
  • Ensure a safe environment for our technicians or providers to work in
  • Comply with reasonable instructions from attending personnel
  • Be present (or have an authorised representative present) during the service

Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw service where:

  • Conditions are unsafe for personnel or equipment
  • A customer is abusive, threatening or under the influence
  • Information provided is materially incorrect or misleading

Payment Disputes

Any disputes regarding payment must be raised promptly and in writing. Outstanding payments remain due during the dispute resolution process unless otherwise agreed.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics and design, is the property of Avant Auto Assist or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. It may not be reproduced or reused without written permission.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Parking and Car Park Charges

If a job requires entering a paid car park, the customer is responsible for any parking charges incurred by the technician during the call-out.

Deposit Requirement

For certain jobs (recovery, parts-required call-outs, scheduled servicing), Avant Auto Assist will require a deposit to confirm the booking. The deposit is communicated and agreed before any payment is taken. This is simply to cover our drivers costs in case of no shows and cancellations.

Refund and No-Show

If the driver is not present at the agreed location and time and cannot be contacted within a reasonable window, the deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation

Deposits are retained on cancellations made within 30 minutes of the agreed call-out time. Cancellations made earlier than that may be eligible for a partial or full refund at our discretion.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
